About me
Hi, I’m Lorrae and I am passionate about ensuring therapy is a collaborative process that creates a safe, inclusive space that is focused on an individual’s needs. I have a range of experience working in education and private settings and within multi-disciplinary teams.
I utilise individual strengths and interests in sessions to assist children/adolescents with their motivation and engagement towards their personal goals. Laughter, fun and play are all welcomed and encouraged in session to aid in building a trusting and enjoyable space to flourish.
I adapt each session using a range of therapeutic approaches that are tailored just for you. This may include play-based therapies, mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I enjoy working alongside a diverse range of young people and have experience supporting family challenges, self-esteem, emotion regulation, school stressors and mental health concerns including anxiety and depression.
